What Thanksgiving Is REALLY All About…

Yesterday was Thanksgiving, and Dreama, Stella and I are staying at her Dad’s place in Salem, VA.
Their next door neighbor’s daughter, Casey, came over on Wednesday, worried about not being able to properly cook a turkey for her first Thanksgiving as a hostess.

Naturally, my father-in-law stepped up, and offered to deep fry her turkey for her. We even told her to take the turkey home, put it in foil in the over, and pull it out as if she’d been cooking it all day.

    I was absolutely fastenated with this video. Having never seen how it’s done, this was an eye-opening experience, but one that I’d be more willing to try sometime myself.

    They really do have a great neighbor!
