I know that we all have good intentions when we buy a home study course. In theory, the investing sounds great, the testimonials are real, and we’re driven to succeed because we know that, being a smart person, and a good investor, we’re going to make boatloads of cash.

So why aren’t more of us successful when we buy information products?

Because sadly, we get busy, things come up, and the bottom line is, we never implement. In fact, sometimes, the course never comes out of the shrink wrap.

Look, I’m as guilty as the next guy. I have a courses that I’ve purchased, and sadly, I’ve never done anything with them. It has nothing to do with the course, but everything to do with me.

So today, as I write this blog post, I’m going to put my money where my mouth is.

You see, I want to invest in land, and in Jack’s system, and I want to do it right beside you, side by side, WITH you.

    I am sooooo hammered with all this real estate investing information, I have a hard time concentrating on what I really can do. I work a Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 J.O.B.. I can do limited phone calling during the day, but can answer a few personal emails. I need an investment strategy that’s more passive and can be done in my off time.

    I don’t want to spend another $1,500.00 for a course that I will not be able to work. So, I’m not sure if Jack’s Raw Land course would work. Knowing what you know about it, what do you think?

    Also, I received information about your Foreclousure course, but is that information relevant in today’s market? Are there other investing strategies that would work better with my schedule?

    Hi Lynn,

    To be brutally honest with you, if you want to quit your JOB, you’ll need to carve out some time and find time to invest…that means nights and weekends.

    Are you willing to sacrifice watching TV, etc on nights and weekends to make your investing business work?

    I don’t sugar coat things, I just tell it like it is.

    As for “getting hammered” with emails, I suffer from the same thing myself. Here’s my advice:

    Pick a few people who’s emails and information you really value. Ask yourself “If I didn’t get emails from X, would I be missing out?”

    If the answer is “NO”, the next time that person emails you, open it, and click unsubscribe. I unsubscribe from people all of the time.

    I don't believe that you SHOULD divert your focus.  I'm in a fortunate situation where I have my short sale business rolling, so I CAN divert.

    If you have yet to master short sales, then you're absolutely right, you should stay on course, and keep focused on short sales.
