REI Marketing Tips

I had the pleasure of meeting Larry Goins at the Virtual Investing Seminar in New Orleans in October. I had actually never heard Larry speak in public before.

Boy, was I missing out. Larry presentation was amazing. He has put together all of the tools necessary to turn your real estate investing JOB into a proper, fully functioning business.

One of the biggest takeaways that I had from the Virtual Investing Seminar was the fact that you need to outsource and systematize in order to make your business more successful.

While there are MANY parts of my business that are automated, systematized, and outsourced, there are still many areas where it is not. Larry fills in the blanks and automates EVERY aspect of your real estate business.

One of Larry’s expressions is “Set It, And Forget It”.  Meaning that once you automate something and set it up properly, you can forget about it and move onto the next aspect or task of your business.

I got Larry on the phone last week, and recorded a quick 5 minute call with him. Make sure you listen to this, as it’s only 5 minutes long, but will change the way you think about your investing business:

Despite my Outlook fiasco, I am finally catching my breath upon my return from Naples, Florida. Dreama, Stella and I all went out to Financial Health Coach’s event, and it was fantastic.

There were many members of the REI Marketing Tips community who were in attendance, and it was great to match up faces with the names. A special thanks to all of those who personally came up and introduced themselves to me, it was a pleasure meeting all of you.

For those of you who have never been to a Financial Health Coach event, I suggest that you do your best to get out there. It’s a great event, that covers short sales from A to Z.

One of the best parts for me was when Angie spoke about selling houses using Auctions. We are going to implement some of her strategies, and get some of our inventory sold quickly. Speaking of auctions, I just picked a up a great book by Bill Effros: How To Sell Your Home in 5 Days.

You should definitely pick up a copy, might be the best $10 you’ve spent all year!

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind for me lately. Since I’ve returned from the Virtual Investing Seminar in Ne w Orleans, LA I basically jumped right back onto a plane to Naples, FL for Financial Health Coach’s event. More on that later.

Dreama and I decided to take Stella, our 3.5 month old baby girl, for some R&R on Captiva Island. We had a great time, but alas, were only able to get away for 3 days.

Upon our return late last week, I came home to Outlook on my PC having crashed. I have lost EVERY SINGLE email from before Oct 24th 2007. This is not good.
